Train: We are near North Sydney Train Station. It is approximately a 10 minute walk from either Miller Street or Walker Street.

Dan Siskind
MBBS, MPH, PhD, FRANZCP, FAHMS
Prof Siskind trained as a psychiatrist in Australia and the United States. He works clinically as a psychiatrist in Brisbane, Australia with people with treatment refractory schizophrenia. His research interests include treatment refractory schizophrenia, clozapine and the physical health comorbidities associated with schizophrenia. He has over 350 publications and AU$65million in competitive research grants, with over AU$9 million as CIA. He was the SIRS 2026 Outstanding Clinical and Community Research Award recipient, and is an NHMRC Leadership Fellow (2027-2031).
Professor Susanna Every-Palmer heads the Department for Psychological Medicine, University of Otago Wellington, and works as a forensic psychiatrist. Her PhD investigated the epidemiology, aetiology, prevention and treatment of CIGH, a topic on which she is a recognised international expert. She is ranked in Expertscape’s top 0.2% of published academics globally in the field of mental health. Susanna has held numerous senior leadership roles in mental health. These include positions as a Forensic Clinical Director and Director of Area Mental Health Services, and Acting Director of Mental Health for New Zealand. She is President-Elect of the Pacific Rim College of Psychiatry and former Chair of the NZ Committee of the RANZCP.
